To present openness in listening statistics for the benefit of The Yellow Light and everyone, files use the prefix for OP3 (Open Podcast Prefix Project). This service does not link addresses with third parties. Cloudflare also contributes to some measurements in line with its privacy policy.
If you would like to use a totally fake location anywhere else in the world, I recommend routing all traffic through Tor (which is easiest to do when it is built into the Tor Browser) or through a VPN. As a general safety note for those in oppressive and dangerous locations: VPNs can make your IP address become that of the VPN’s servers, but the VPN provider knows your IP address through your connection.
